Sign Claimed by Owner

Yesterday a new sign appeared at a polling location. This sign caused quite a stir as it proclaimed to vote for the following Democrats. Many candidates where shocked to find their names on the sign. This led to 24 hours of theories on who put the sign up and why. The bottom line is everyone who blamed their opponent; it seems they may have been wrong.

Bradley-this is my sign. I bought some signs that were not going to be used. I bought and built this sign in my own front yard with materials from around my house. when this election is over this sign will be recycled used in my bee hives. Untill then they are usefull to shine the light on some practices of playing for two opposing teams. I appreciate the red tape, if some one where to make a sign calling me a Republican, I would probably deface their sign too. Notice the three names covered by tape, I have respect for which ever of you placed it on to my sign. The point: if you feel your name is here by mistake, please tell me that you are not campaigning for or endorsing members of the democratic party (working for the dems). This sign will be placed again(with the tape intact). I like your choice of red tape, you see i'am a Democrat but the only way for a real Dem to be free ( my opinion) VOTE REPUBLICAN.

thanks.

  1. This is an example of how some people can twist facts, mix them with lies and throw them on people unjustly. This is a reprint of a post and an email that was circulated yesterday.

"Incumbent Mick Phalen and Republican Party Chair Barbara Meekshave stooped to an all new low. A bogus 6 ft. political sign wa erectedat 5:00 pm yesterday at the Calder Rd. polling site indicating that Heidi Theiss and Gerri Bentley as "Democrat Candidates". The sign was made at the League City Sign Shop, the same sign shop that made Mick Phalen signs. The political disclaimer was ficticious and how interesting that Barbara Meeks happened to pass by that location to take pictures of the sign. Ms. Meeks and her friend Roxanne Lewis posted the picture on their Republican blogs. Lloyd Criss, Democratic party chair went to the voting location to pull down the sign. He was quoted as saying "Thiess and Bentley are not Democrats ... Phalen must absolutely be desperate and we won't let him come to our meetings anymore to ask for support". "

Yea, Carl it might be. Most of us would love it if the coward who put the sigh up would step up and complain. But, its kinda hard to do that and remain unknown, hiding. Trust me we will find out. And I do not believe Mr. Criss took the sign down. It was gone when he arrived, I believe.

  6. What I don't understand is why after a year later, Mr. Edelmann still keeps this lie-based article on his blog? It was proven the address the disclaimer listed was inhabited by illegals who could not speak English. This site has no credibility.
